Position Summary

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate the beverage cart safely and efficiently throughout the golf course.
• Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take and accurately fulfill beverage and snack orders.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of beverages, snacks, ice, and other supplies.
• Keep the beverage cart clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Follow all club policies regarding alcohol service, identification, and responsible beverage service.
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for the cart and service areas.
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous service while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Work closely with the golf shop and secure tee sheet each day.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Assist with special events, tournaments, and other club activities when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage, hospitality, golf club, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, friendly, and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of service.
• Comfortable using a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to safely operate a beverage cart after appropriate training.
• Must meet all applicable age and legal requirements for serving alcohol.
• TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or similar certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry beverage cases, ice, and supplies.
• Ability to repeatedly bend, reach, push, pull, and lift during stocking and service.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and other weather conditions.
